A team of two from the Russ & Daughters staff will compete in the August Sweat Out Ping Pong Classic tournament at Partners & Spade tomorrow!

On Saturday, August 29, local creative firm Partners & Spade will host a ping pong tournament in their smart Great Jones Street storefront and studio to celebrate the launch of a limited edition Classic sneaker they designed for the K-Swiss footwear brand.

“Partners & Spade was founded on the basis of interesting collaborations, so we were eager to partner with K-Swiss on our Classic interpretation,” says Andy Spade, creative director and founder of Partners & Spade. “We were able to customize the design as well as the launch concept with the freedom to take a novel, unexpected approach.”

And Russ & Daughters is happy to participate.  We will play in the ping pong tournament against duos from The New Museum, Tiny Vices, The Strand, Liquor Store J. Crew Mens Shop, Criterion Collection, and FDNY Company 33.  We hope that you will join us to cheer on the team!
