A few months ago, the latest Food Network production filmed part of a new show at Russ & Daughters.  That show, Chefs vs. City, premieres this Friday night at 10:00 p.m. with the New York episode that features a challenge at Russ & Daughters.

In the series, chefs Aaron Sanchez and Chris Cosentino run around various cities to challenge local foodies to tasks. We can’t talk too much yet about the Russ & Daughters challenge, so you’ll have to tune in on Friday night to see the action yourself. But, we can assure you that everyone played by the rules: Sanchez is a friend and neighbor and yet the challenge and location were a secret until the moment they ran up to the store.
