The idea: hilarious and helpful.    The technique: sort of gorgeous.  Scanwiches is definitely one of my favorite new blogs.        Their tagline: “Scans of sandwiches for education and delight.”  Scanwiches was created by Jon Chonko, a designer at thehappycorp global.  For the past week, I’ve checked it every day, right around dinner time.

The idea is simple, but so well-executed:  1. Buy/make/procure a sandwich.   2.  Scan the sandwich.  3. I don’t know if they eat the sandwiches when they’re done scanning. But, why not?

Their work would also make an excellent coffee table book. Those photos are sometimes stunning.

Not a Scanwich: a Russ & Daughters Classic Bagel & Lox sandwich.

I hope that they’ll stop in here for sandwiches, so that they can  scan/eat a Russ & Daughters Classic Bagel & Lox or a Super Heebster, soon.
