The Russ & Daughters table at International Pickle Day

On September 14, Russ & Daughters took part in the 8th annual International Pickle Day, held at the site of “the old pickle district” on the Lower East Side. We served and sold pickles, of course, (full and half sour) and plenty of pickled herring and pickled lox. The event, co-sponsored by the NY Food Museum and the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, is rumored to have drawn upwards of 50,000 people.

Pickle Day volunteers Lainie, Leslie, and Bryan staffed the Russ & Daughters table and served samples to thousands.
